Seagate Recovery Services Advantage Program

Our Advantage Program offers all standard priority service consumer and business clients a free Seagate disc drive covered by a 2-year warranty.

The Advantage Program applies to recovery cases for all brands and all formats of storage media. It should be noted however, the company will only cover other manufacturers’ warranties if we must void the original warranty by opening the drive during a recovery attempt. In this specific case, the company will recognize all competitive hard drive manufacturers’ warranties, and replace failed products with comparable Seagate drives free of charge, regardless of the service tier selection. Seagate Recovery Services is the first and only company to offer a program of this type.

The Seagate Recovery Services Advantage eliminates the added delays of waiting for another manufacturer’s warranty drive replacement.  Seagate’s standard “no files, no recovery charge” policy and Data Quality Commitment will continue to apply to all recovery cases.
